:seanchas: Seanchas is a language learning tool for Scottish Gàidhlig that uses pre-scripted conversations for in-context language adoption. Inspired by Falou.
The site’s content intentionally doesn’t really teach you vocabulary and specific words or phrases, but rather throws you into the deep end with handcrafted context clues at every step with realistic scripted conversations. The goal is helping you learn whole phrases or how to conversate, rather than becoming a human dictionary.
I would like you to complete the first unit in full then complete the survey.
If you are interested in using it more thoroughly (more helpful to me 🙏), I would like you to use the site 3 times, whether it is in one day or across several days is up to you. Each time, you should choose a different learning unit on the site. I expect you to try the practice page at least once, but bonus points for using it more. After doing this, please fill out the form linked below.
Please do the units in the order they’re shown, try not to jump ahead.
The site unfortunately does not currently work on handheld mobile devices. It works on any device with a keyboard and landscape display.

The data collected in this survey is anonymous and consists only of users opinions about their experience using the website. No personally identifiable information is intentionally collected.
The data will be used solely to evaluate the project's effectiveness as part of my honours dissertation.
Participation is voluntary, and responses will be stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary to complete the dissertation.
